The increased activated carbon enhances the adsorption capacity, resulting in superior purification performance. To prevent charcoal dust from shedding, it is recommended to soak the filter in water for 2-5 minutes and thoroughly rinse it under running water before use.
Replacing the charcoal filters every 2 to 4 weeks helps maintain clean water. If there are multiple pets using the fountain, replace the filters more frequently. A small amount of carbon dust may be released over the filter's lifespan, but this is not harmful to your pet.
These filters feature a thick, high-density cotton mesh that removes small particles, dust, debris, and hair, improving and purifying the water source. The premium coconut shell activated carbon and cotton materials offer fast absorption of impurities and long-lasting durability.
The filters are compatible with all 1.6L - 2.5L (54 - 84oz) fountains that use 4.9, 5.0, or 5.1-inch diameter round filters, such as those from MosPro, Comsmart, Wonder Creature, Vekonn, Beacon, Toozey, MOOBONA, MOSPROER, iPettie, Shinea, BOBEastal, isYoung, pedy, hommi, happypapa, and youthink. They are not compatible with all Catit brand pet flower fountains.
